The simple Present is used to make statements about the present time.
(El presente simple se usa para hacer oraciones sobre el tiempo presente)
I study, He plays, We work.

Reglas gramaticales para la tercera persona del Simple Present Singular:
Vemos en las oraciones, He plays soccer, she plays soccer, it plays soccer que se le agrega una s al final. Depende del verbo si le agregamos s, es o ies.
Verbos que terminan en –o, se le añade –es : do-does, go-goes
Verbos que terminan en –x, ch, sh, s se les añade –es:
fix-fixes, watch-watches, miss-misses.
Verbos que terminan en una consonante e y , se le cambia y por ies:
Cry-cries. Study-studies
